Okay, I have plans...

Here's what I'm thinking...
I'll use Saturday and Sunday to talk about random things...
Monday's Music Monday Since I have a free spotify account or Misc. monday Tuesday's Tasty (Yes, a food post) or tech Tuesday, Wednesday's Weird Wednesday (where I find some weirdness on the net (there's an abundance...) Thursday's... Something. Thirsty Thursdays, maybe (I can find drink ideas...) Friday is Review Fridays, where I review something, like a video game or some piece of tech (you can donate to help me get things for this, if you want.)

So, yeah... How does this sound? I think it's not the worst idea in the world.
If you have anything to add, you can always reach me in the comments section below.
Also, as always, I welcome constructive criticism/any tips to help me become a better writer.
Have a great day!

Something Neat to do...

A very awesome thing I've been doing for about a year or so now is I've been carrying portable applications with me wherever I go. Currently, I have on my Flash drive (that link'll take you to an amazon search for 8GB flash drives)
Firefox
Chrome
VLC media player
a program to burn CD/DVDs
Instantbird (an IM client)
a few system utilities (Antivirus, Anti-spyware, and defragging)
all on a small, relatively cheap 8GB flash drive. I'll get to why I like that particular size in a bit, but first I have to tell you about some of the pros and cons of doing this (my list won't cover all, only my personal reasons)...

First off, all the apps are self contained. In the case of the web browsers (Firefox and Chrome); all my apps, extensions, and bookmarks follow me to any Windows (or Linux, with wine) based computer. This can come in real handy if you need to check your email or feel like jotting down a quick post while at a friend's house (you know, so you won't forget.)

The second reason I love it is because it also has a file system to store media files (pics, vids, ect.) and those also come along with you, which leads me to my reasoning for choosing 8GB for my flash drive.

With certain extensions, it's possible to save videos you find online to your computer, which brings into account the ability to have all your extensions with you and the ability to keep the videos that you do save on the flash drive itself. I've found that 8GB lets you do quite a bit, while only costing the equivalent of about three cups of coffee (if you spring for some decent stuff.) Currently Flash drives, as you can see don't cost that much money ($15 or less) at the 8GB size. This, in my opinion is preferable to spending more than half that price for half the size, and 16GB is too large, at least in my opinion. Too much of the space doesn't get utilized...

Anyway, my point is that you can find funny/interesting videos (lolcats, is what I'm saying) and share them with people who don't have internet, or still have dial-up (I know someone who does, so shut up.)

OK, now moving on to the potential downsides to this whole setup...

The main potential downside is theft/loss.
Since it's all self-contained, and everything is just there, this can be a big issue, not to mention that you've lost/had stolen a nice Flash drive...
One easy way to get around the potential loss of data is to encrypt all your data by using something like True Crypt. If you want to know how to get that all set up, you can follow this link Here... and you'll be all set.

Anyway, as this post is getting long-winded, I bid you a farewell and Good day...

If you have any comments, suggestions, or other things you want to get off your chest and into my ears (shut up, I know the metaphor doesn't work here) don't hesitate to comment below.
Also, I'm looking for constructive criticism to help me develop my writing style. Thank you for reading.
